At least three people were killed and seven were injured in an explosion in Kabul province in eastern Afghanistan, RIA Novosti reported quoting the Khaama Press agency.

As the representative of the security forces reported, the explosion occurred in the Paghman district on Wednesday morning.

Details of the incident have not been disclosed yet.

The situation in Afghanistan has considerably worsened in recent months.
