Chinese scientists arrived at a conclusion that money affects the development of relationship between man and woman.

The experiment held in Beijing university included students who had romantic relationships. They were divided into two groups: the rich and the poor. The students were given coins, and were asked to rate how attractive their couple was and how much they were satisfied. Volunteers should have thought that the coins had real value.

As a result, the men who evaluated themselves as being well-off, started making higher demands of their potential partner. The response of the opposite sex was different. The level of their demands did not change in accordance with the level of the fortune.
