YEREVAN. – The vegetables produced in Armenia are in great demand in Russia.

Andrei Babko, the Russia Trade Representative in Armenia, stated the aforesaid at his talk with Artak Shaboyan, Chairman of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC) of Armenia.

The commission informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Babko asked the SCPEC chairman that the commission carry out research of the greenhouses in Armenia.

As per the Russian official, since a greenhouse construction incentive program is implemented in Armenia with assistance by the Russian government, this matter is urgent and important toward finding out the competitive situation in this domain.

Andrei Babko noted that the vegetables produced in Armenia are in high demand in Russia, and therefore they underscore the full and successful implementation of this program.

In response, Shaboyan informed that SCPEC stands ready to carry out research in this domain.
