YEREVAN. – There will be new social protection measures for the military serviceman and volunteers of Armenia.

Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan said the abovementioned during his report at Thursday’s joint session of the National Assembly committees, and regarding the “performance” of the 2015 State Budget of the country.

He recalled that the Armenian state allocates funds to the families of fallen soldiers, as death pensions and for the funeral and cemetery expenses.

The minister informed that a government decision is being drafted, according to which such means will be allocated for the volunteers, too. 

“New legislative acts will be adopted in the near future,” Asatryan assured.
