After negotiations with the National Liberation Army, the Colombian rebel group released three kidnapped journalist Salyud Hernandez- Mora , Carlos Melo, and Diego de Pablos, reported  TASS referring to speech of the  Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos. 

The Head of the State thanked the Colombian Catholic Church and the State Agency for Human Rights Protection, which conducted successful negotiations and returned the journalists . The President Santos also praised the work done by the country's armed forces and the police . "I want to thank all of our heroes , our soldiers , police officers," he added.

Salyud Hernandez- Mora, a journalist of the Spanish El Mundo, captured by the rebels, answering to the questions , said that the first day he was kept against his will . "I always told them , that despite how they interpret their actions , I believe it is a kidnapping ," said Hernandez- Mora .
