Working week of Paris residents is recognized the shortest in the world, The Telegraph writes.

According to results of research of the Swiss bank UBS, Parisians on average work for 30.84 hours  a week which is the lowest indicator among world's largest cities.

The French Lyon is in the second place, its residents work for 31.36 hours a week. Moscow took the third line in the rating with 31.66 working hours a week. Next come Helsinki and Vienna.

As it is noted, the working maximum is fixed in Hong Kong where people work more than 50 hours.

It is remarkable that these data appeared amid demands to reduce the number of hours spent in the offices, and demands to accept more flexible scheduling due to technological progress, which allows working from any corner of the world.

In addition, as a recent study showed, 6 of 10 bosses consider that the reduction of working hours from 8 am to 6 can be good for business, Gazeta reported.
