The scientists of Strathclyde University ( Glasgow ) by means of a DNA test discovered a unique genetic marker at the male line of descendants of Robert III, a king of Scotland from Stuarts Dynasty, the great-grandchild of the  Scottish king Robert I Bruce . Daily Mail website reports that scientists found a marker thanks to the king's successor , who was a Scottish businessman, Archie Stewart Show . It was discovered that he had a unique genetic marker that is present only in descendants of Robert III, reports Gazeta.

Robert III is one of the prominent Scottish kings , who ruled from 1390 to 1406. On April of 1406 learning that his son was captured in England, Robert III had a heart attack and died . According to the contemporary reports, the king wished that his tomb had the following epitaph . "Here sleeps the worst kings and the most unfortunate men of the kingdom ".
