YEREVAN. – The bust of early medieval Armenian  scholar, writer, public figure, thinker, and priest Mkhitar Gosh has been installed to the building of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia.

The sculpture was unveiled ion Tuesday.

“The installation of his bust is symbolic for the Chamber of Advocates, since the main mission of advocates is the protection of human rights,” Ara Zohrabyan, Head of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia, told reporters at the unveiling ceremony. 

The event brought together National Assembly Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan, Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan, Investigative Committee Chairman Aghvan Hovsepyan, and Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia Arman Tatoyan, and numerous others.
