After the Bundestag decision on the Armenian Genocide resolution, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan once again touched on the topic of the Armenians residing illegally in Turkey.

The Turkish President continues to respond to Bundestag's decision, this time calling it not in line with the natural course of life. According to Erdoğan, the German MPs must first once again acknowledge the Holocaust and then move to the topic of Armenians, Cumhuriyet reports.

''We know that Armenians were not the reason for making that decisions; they are just using the Armenians. The Armenian cause has started to be used as a blackmail tool and even a stick,'' Erdoğan said.

The Turkish President insisted that if he weren't sensitive to Armenians, he wouldn't keep the illegally residing Armenians in the country and would send them to their homeland like in the case with Europeans.
