YEREVAN. – President of Armenia and ruling Republican Party of Armenia Chairman Serzh Sargsyan gave pretty important messages to his fellow party members, according to Hraparak newspaper.

“He said that the fight against corruption will be continuous. (…) he said that the challenges are very great, [and] therefore the ‘Armenians’ home’ shall be brought to order for the outside, in order not to make Azerbaijan happy, [and] not [because of] going to [forthcoming parliamentary] elections.

“In the second block, he reflected on the Karabakh issue, the meeting to take place [on June 20] in Saint Petersburg[, Russia] [between himself and his Russian and Azerbaijani counterparts]. He informed that it will be a continuation of the Vienna meeting, and a specifying of the arrangements.  He said they shall discuss the matter of installation of investigative equipment [at the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone]. He said, “The ball is in Azerbaijan’s court,” and the important thing is that the international community has realized that Azerbaijan is the aggressor. He informed that no document will be signed in Saint Petersburg, [and that] the negotiations will be reset, so that next time they would move forward from that point.

“In the third block, Serzh Sargsyan spoke about the Pope’s visit [to Armenia next week], he underscored it not only from spiritual, but, first of all, geopolitical, regional aspects, noting that the whole world’s attention will be focused on Armenia on those days,” wrote Hraparak.
