MOSCOW. – The two of us have quite thoroughly conversed on several matters. Despite all the global difficulties and those of our economies, we record a growth in commodity circulation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated the aforesaid during his talk Monday in Saint Petersburg, Russia, with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, according to the official website of the Kremlin.
“The supplies of agricultural products from the Armenian side to the Russian market have increased predominantly, and several times,” noted Putin. “It can be seen that our relations within the framework of integration processes are developing more intensely than it was previously, on a bilateral basis (…).
“Now, Armenia chairs the CSTO [i.e. the Collective Security Treaty Organization], and a high-level meeting will be convened in fall.”
President Sargsyan, for his part, noted that this high-level meeting will be held in October.
