STEPANAKERT. – The Nagorno-Karabakhc Republic (NKR/Artsaskh) Defense Army (DA) Commander, Lieutenant-General Levon Mnatsakanyan on Tuesday received the Co-Chairman of the the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) Board of Trustees and regional Director of the Assembly’s Yerevan office Arpi Vardanyan.

Upon the request of the guests, Mnastakanyan referred to the situation at the frontline and the military aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan in early April, especially stressing the barbarian and inhuman actions of the Azerbaijani armed forces not only against the DA servicemen, but also civilians, Karabakh MOD press-service reports.

The representatives of the AAA assured that the considerations of the Artsakh Defense Minister will be raised in Washington at the meetings to be held in the upcoming days.

The sides also discussed issues of mutual importance, noting about the need to further deepen the ties between the army and the AAA.
