YEREVAN. – A viticulture and winemaking foundation will be established in Armenia.
The respective decision was reached at Thursday’s Cabinet session of the government.
The corresponding written explanation states that the functioning union of winemakers is unable to work out a common policy toward the development of this industry, including toward exports.
A total of 103.5 million drams (approx. US$217,264) will be allocated in the current year, for the activities of this foundation.
