200 people, who fled the Boko Haram fighters, starved to death in a Nigerian refugee camp, Lenta reports, citing BBC News.

According to the newspaper, the displaced people hid from the terrorists in the camp located by Bama city in the country's north-south. According to the representatives of Doctors Without Borders (MSF), there are 24,000 people on the camp's territory, many of whom suffer from physical and psychological traumas, while every fifth child is systematically malnourished.

Up to 30 people die in the camp every day.

"This is the first time MSF has been able to access Bama, but we already know the needs of the people there are beyond critical," said Ghada Hatim, MSF head of mission in Nigeria.
