STEPANAKERT. – The ceremony of handing in diplomas and awards to students having graduated from Artsakh State University with honors took place Friday at the Residence of the President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh).

Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, congratulating the attendees, President Sahakyan noted that the state acknowledges any success accomplished by the young generation, both in education, professional career, or the sacred duty of safeguarding the Motherland’s borders.

He stressed that the development of education and science is at the focus in Artsakh, where necessary conditions are being created for the youth to acquire high quality education that conform to modern standards, and to be erudite, developed, and deserving citizens of the country.

NKR National Assembly Chairman Ashot Ghoulyan, Prime Minister Arayik Haroutyunyan, and several other officials also attended the event.
