European Council President Donald Tusk expressed readiness to make every effort to keep all states in the EU, BBC Russian Service reported.
According to Tusk, the EU is determined to keep its unity and hopes not to allow an exit of 27 remaining countries from its the structure after the decision made by UK to leave the block.
Commenting on results of the British referendum in Brussels, Tusk declared that he is absolutely confident in the future of the EU.
“That which does not kill us makes us stronger,” he added.
