The topic of settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict requires silence, Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), said at a briefing on Tuesday.

She noted this while responding to a query on the recent trilateral talk in Saint Petersburg, Russia, between the presidents of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan, reported TASS news agency of Russia.

“It’s important that this positive mood that was achieved does not dissolve within public rhetoric; it must be preserved to implement during specific steps,” said Zakharova. “There are topics that require silence because diplomats and analysts should work there.

“It’s important to make sure that the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is transferred to a specific dimension.”
