YEREVAN. – Armenia on Wednesday is marking the remembrance day for the missing persons and those who fell for the homeland.

According to tradition, a delegation, led by Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan, visited the Yerablur Military Pantheon in capital city Yerevan, and paid tribute to the Karabakh War veterans and servicemen who had sacrificed their lives. 

The day of missing persons is observed in Armenia also on August 30, as the International Day of the Disappeared.

As a result of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, more than 200 people in Armenia are considered missing.
