YEREVAN. – Armenian Ambassador Fadey Charchoghlyan, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Kuwait, on Tuesday met with the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah IV Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Emir Sabah Al-Sabah expressed satisfaction with Kuwait’s high level of relations and active cooperation with Armenia.

Ambassador Charchoghlyan, in turn, expressed his gratitude to Kuwait and to Emir Sabah Al-Sabah for their constant assistance to the Armenian embassy as well as the caring disposition toward the local Armenian community. The outgoing Armenian ambassador to also underscored Kuwait’s assistance to the Syrian Armenians who have taken shelter in Armenia.

On the same day, Ambassador Fadey Charchoghlyan was also received by the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. The Kuwaiti PM highlighted the active cooperation with Armenia.

The interlocutors emphasized the need to further intensify efforts toward a comprehensive deepening of relations between the two countries.

The Premier of Kuwait also noted that the Armenian-Kuwaiti business contacts have noticeably intensified ever since the founding of the embassy, and that Armenia presents a great interest to Kuwaiti business circles.
