YEREVAN. – The Armenian government made amendments to the memorandum between the Armenian government and the United Arab Emirates as of 2009 at the meeting on Friday.

According to the amendments offered by the government of the United Arab Emirates, a visa-free regime will be established for the persons having diplomatic and special passports.

The innovation involves citizens of the United Arab Emirates having special passports, in particular, members of the ruling families, former speakers of the parliament, ambassadors and deputy ministers and also CEOs, the spouses of the above-mentioned officials, their children under the age of 21.
