The Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation ( BSEC ) considers that it is inadmissible to keep "black lists" of MPs , said the speaker of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin.

“Among the adopted declarations I will mention the final one, which states the need of free interaction, unimpeded and wide range cooperation among the parliamentarians.”

Thus, the BSEC members drew the attention of the international community to “an unacceptable practice of including the MPs into any “black” or “stop” lists, said Naryshkin. He stressed that “this practice corresponds neither to the principles of democratic values , nor to the interests of our peoples”, reports RIA Novosti.

The 47th General Assembly of the BSEC was held in Moscow from June 28 to 30. The event was attended by the delegations from Azerbaijan, Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Greece, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Serbia, and Turkey, as well as the French delegation, as an observer, and nine international organizations. The delegations of Georgia and Ukraine did not participate in the session. During the session there was adopted a declaration titled The Economic cooperation towards peace, stability, and prosperity in the BSEC region.
