YEREVAN. - PM Hovik Abrahamyan on Thursday received on Thursday the Gerogian Minister of Penitentiary, Probation and Legal Assistance Kakha Kakhishvili.

Abarahamyan noted that the ties between Armenia and Georgia are at a high-level, this being a good basis for the mutually beneficial cooperation for their further expansion and deepening.

In Abrahamyan’s words, the agenda of bilateral ties is quite full and the permanent meetings on different levels foster the further development of Armenian-Georgian cooperation. The PM also expressed satisfaction with the cooperation of the legal agencies of the two countries, attaching importance to the memorandum of understanding in the field of justice, which has contributed to the expansion of cooperation.

For his part, Kakha Kakhishvili thanked for the warm reception, noting that the Georgian authorities attach great importance to the development of ties with Armenia in different fields, including economy and justice.

According to the Minister, they are ready to deepen and expand the cooperation with the Armenian partners and carry out exchange of experience also in the field of probation, which functions successfully in Georgia.
