Russian and French presidents Vladimir Putin and François Hollande had a telephonic conversation, during which they discussed the matter of resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, according to the Kremlin press service.

Putin informed Hollande, as president of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group co-chairing country, the results of his recent meeting with Armenia and Azerbaijan Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev, respectively.

The presidents of Russia and France expressed the hope that the results achieved during that talk will contribute to a progress in the Karabakh peace process.

Vladimir Putin and François Hollande also agreed to continue their active joint work within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.
