An agreement was reached with the Armenian side as regards reducing the price of Russian natural gas being supplied.

Transportation Minister of Russia Maksim Sokolov, who is also Russian co-chair of the Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation, stated the abovementioned after Friday’s 17th meeting of this commission, which was convened in St. Petersburg, Russia.

In his words, an agreement was reached also regarding the provision of petroleum products to Armenia without customs duties; matters were resolved in connection with organizing the allocation of a special route at the Upper Lars checkpoint at the Georgia-Russia border; the fourth Russian-Armenian interregional forum was held; and the Armenian-Russian Humanitarian Response Center was established in Armenia.
