The Kremlin regrets the British PM Theresa May’s statement about a threat from Russia, Russian President’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated, Sputnik News reported.

“Apparently Mrs. Prime Minister has not yet fully caught up with the course of international affairs", Peskov said, noting that Russia is one of the main guarantors of international stability and nuclear security.

Peskov also expressed hope that over time an objective point of view with regard to Russia would prevail within May's administration.
