The suspension of the electricity supply to the air base in the southern Turkey is beneficial neither for Ankara nor for Washington , if it continues, said the US Ambassador to Turkey John Bass, reports the RIA Novosti.
"This was caused by a failed coup attempt . But the longer this situation lasts , the more it will affect the operation of the IS… We are determined to defend Turkey from further terrorist attacks. Operations carried out in the Incirlik base are an important part of it , " Bass told journalists in Istanbul , reports the Anadolu.
