YEREVAN. – Forty people out of 51 hospitalized after clashes on Kohrenatsi Street were discharged from hospital, Health Ministry said in a statement.
A clash between police and protesters broke out on Wednesday evening in the district where an armed group seized a police station on Sunday. The police warned that the action would be dispersed unless protesters leave the area in 15 minutes.
When the number of protesters reduced, police officers started dispersing the crowd. Dozens of protesters were detained.
