Young athletes representing Armenian schools won five gold, two silver and eight bronze medals at ISF Gymnasiade 2016 that was held from July 11 to 18 in Trabzon, Turkey.

Gymnasiade brought together 2,500 school children from 30 countries. Armenia had a 38-member strong team that was formed through the Ministry of Education and Science.

Armenian athletes competed in athletics, gymnastics, swimming, Greco-Roman and Free Style wrestling, Judo, Archery, chess and fencing.
