Today , on July 22 in the evening, several hundred protesters again gathered in Khorenatsi street of Yerevan to express their support for the armed group that seized the police patrol regiment.

The NEWS.am correspondent reports that the number of protesters is growing . The National Assembly MP Nikol Pashinyan together with the members of the Civil Contract  party is also there . Note, that yesterday Pashinyan announced that he has nothing to do in Khorenatsi Street , but today he released a new video , informing that he will be there. 

The News.am correspondent reports that the police has increased the security in Khorenatsi street . The situation in Khorenatsi street is relatively calm . 

As earlier reported, a group of armed men stormed into a Yerevan police patrol regiment, on early morning on July 17, and took several police officers hostage. Deputy regiment commander Artur Vanoyan was killed, and four other officers of the law plus one of the attackers were wounded during the ensuing gunfire exchange. So far, five people were released from the scope of the actions . At the moment here are four hostages.
