YEREVAN. – A 44-year-old Armenia woman died after she delivered twins via C-section at Shengavit medical center.   

The surgery of the woman having her first pregnancy passed well but was followed by complications. The woman was transported to the intensive care department of Grigor Lusavorich medical center where she died at night, chief genecologyst of Armenia Razmik Abrahamyan told Armenia News-NEWS.am.

 According to preliminary data, the death was caused by reduced clotting of the blood.
