YEREVAN. – Armenia’s health ministry published photos of medical workers who have been taken hostage by an armed group that has seized police regiment in Yerevan.

According to the Health Ministry press-service, doctors Norayr Tevanyan and Salvador Khechoyan, paramedic David Tonoyan and nurse Malina Markaryan were taken hostage while carrying out their professional duties in the seized police station. 

However, member of the Founding Parliament Alek Yenigomshyan claims that they are not hostages, and “Sasna Tsrer” group will release them as soon as a medical group headed by Health Minister Armen Muradyan will come to the seized police regiment.
