The actions taken by the authorities  against the armed group members who are in the Police Patrol Regiment are not directed at killing them, but instead at  maiming them to an extent, that they would remain disabled until the end of their lives, said the director of Against Violation of Law  NGO Larisa Alaverdyan.

According to her , the state is obliged to provide necessary medical assistance to members of the armed group . She agrees that one should not  keep people in detention , including doctors.

"Events were developing in such a way, that they became the cause of the actions of the armed group (the authorities had no wish to  provide medical assistance). The authorities intensify the situation, whereas the armed group responds to them, " said Alaverdyan. The authorities seem to prove the public that they are unable to govern by means of a rather rich system of government , using methods other than coercion and terror, she concluded.
