After the seizure of the Patrol Police Regiment, the citizens who were affected due to the clashes between the police must submit an application to human’ rights defending companies or the ombudsman's office, announced the head of the HCA Vanadzor Office Arthur Sakunts during a press conference , noting that almost all cases of detention were recorded by the media, and there is no need to submit evidences.

"If 80 people were detained yesterday, let all of them start submitting applications. Now, there a tendency of convincing people not to submit any applications. But yesterday the conduct of the Red Berets can be described as an apparent hooliganism, and it is obligatory to submit applications against them," he said.

The human rights activist Ara Ghazaryan said that if citizens are summoned for questioning, it must take place in the presence of a lawyer . "If the police approaches a citizen in the street with an aim of arrest, first of all it is necessary to ask on what basis they are doing so. As for an interrogation  , it must take place in the presence of a lawyer ."

The ethnographer Hranush Kharatyan also urged citizens affected to apply to the Office of the Ombudsman. "Even if they are not working effectively , let them pile up those cases, thereby. the public will know how many applications have been examined out of submitted 80. "
