Turkish government shows disregard for German ambassador to Ankara since the Bundestag adopted a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide.

Since the beginning of June, when the resolution was adopted, the ambassador Martin Erdman couldn't make any appointment neither in the Turkish Foreign Ministry nor in other Ministries, Local.de reported.

Lower ranking diplomats have occasionally been offered meetings, but each one needs to be personally approved by Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavusoglu.

In addition, the authors noted that the German Defense Ministry delegation was denied a visit to the Incirlik base, where German militaries also serve.
