YEREVAN. – Azerbaijan is inhibiting the implementation of the agreements that were reached at the meetings in the Austrian capital city of Vienna, and in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan told the aforementioned to reporters, after Thursday’s Cabinet session.

When asked whether there is any progress from the viewpoint of carrying out the arrangements toward strengthening the ceasefire, and which were agreed upon during the above-said talks, the Armenian deputy FM noted: “There is no progress, but there is one factor: the respective proposals are submitted.

“There is also a second factor, which was foreseeable: Azerbaijan, as always, agrees on one thing at the negotiating table, but in practice, it inhibits the implementation of the arrangements.”

Kocharyan added that there will be progress if specific mechanisms begin to work.
