In the temporary custody of Artyom town in Primorsky Krai the migrants went on a hunger strike against the deportation delay, reports the Interfax. The Deputy Chairman of the Public Monitoring Commission in Primorye Alexander Smishlyaev said that 20 people went on a hunger strike for 4 days. They agreed to stop the strike only when the commission members visited them.
He noted that the foreigners were protesting against the deportation, they were waiting for months. Smishlyaev noted that there are people who have waiting for deportation since March. Foreigners also complained about the custody conditions. There are not enough matrasses and medicines in the center. Among the immigrants are citizens of Ukraine, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan , and China.
