The Islamic preacher Fethullah Gulen, who the Turkish authorities accuse of organizing a coup attempt, said that the US does not have legal grounds to extradite him to  Turkey, reports the Al Arabia TV channel.

"I do not think that the US will make such a wrong decision and face the world public opinion. This is possible only if the public opinion is deceived by unsubstantiated assertions. Turkey has already sent a request to detain me, but, according to my sources, the court rejected it, " said Gülen in an interview. He also added that there are no legal bases and significant charges in  the materials sent from Turkey.
