YEREVAN. - Armenian serviceman Avetis Zargaryan, who was seriously wounded in Talish village of Karabakh on April 4, has been moved to a hospital ward.

Avetis’ mother, Mrs Sonyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am.

“We spent 4.5 months in the intensive care unit (ICU). The equipment hasn’t yet been turned off: Avetis can’t yet walk on his own, and speaks in whisper because of the pipe in his throat,” Mrs Sonya noted, adding that her son celebrated his 20th anniversary in the ICU.

In her words, Avetis needs rehabilitation treatment, for which they have turned to the Defense Ministry.

Avetis Zakaryan sustained serious injuries during the Azerbaijani aggression in early April. The bullet broke through his jaw and injured his spine. On the way to Yerevan, the doctors gave no chances to the wounded soldier, but the latter is slowly recovering now.

The youth returned to Armenia from abroad in November 2014 to carry out his civil duty and serve in the Armed Forces.
