YEREVAN. – Four candidates, two of whom businessmen, have been nominated to run in the mayoral election on September 18, in Aparan town of Armenia.
The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) member incumbent mayor, another RPA member, non-party affiliated director of the Aparan Cheese Factory, and director of the Aparan Group company will vie in this town, according to the Central Electoral Commission website.
Local government elections are slated for September 18 in several towns and villages in Armenia.
