YEREVAN. - Zorayr Harutyunyan, the attorney of Garik Arustamyan, who was arrested in connection with the incident in Yerevan’s Sari Tagh district on July 29, has appealed the decision of the first instance court on enforcing arrest against his client as a precautionary measure.

Harutyunyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am that he considers the decision groundless.

In his words, his client has nothing to do with the clahses between the protestors and the police. Garik Arustamyan accidentally injured several policemen while driving a car 40 minutes after the incident.  In response, the policemen damaged the car and knocked out the windows. Three policemen are involved in the case as aggrived party.
