The soldiers of the subsequent troops of the Armenian Defense Ministry peacekeeping brigade, who were on a peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan within the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF),   have recently arrived in Armenia.  

During the mission, the troops of the Armenian peacekeepers manifested high professional readiness and discipline, carrying out with honor the tasks set before them and receiving the high appreciation of the command.

Armenia has been taking part in the ISAF in Afghanistan since 2010. The Armenian peacekeepers are included within the northern command of Afghanistan supervised by the German Armed Forces.
