A delegation, led by the chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, headed to Belarus to participate in the active phase of the Unbreakable Brotherhood 2016 joint peacekeeping exercises being held in Belarus, from Tuesday to Saturday.
The Armenian military is taking part in this event pursuant to the 2016 plan of joint training of the armed forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states.
After these peacekeeping exercises, the Armenian army chief will pay an official visit to Belarus, from August 28 to 30.
