The Russian Ministry of Transport informed on Saturday that it is yet early to speak of resuming the charter flights to Turkey starting from August 27, RIA Novosti reports.

“It is yet early to speak of resuming the charter air travels between Russia and Turkey starting from today, since the [relevant] government decision hasn’t yet been adopted,” the statement reads.

Earlier, it was informed that the Russian airline companies which want to perform charter flights to Turkey, can submit application for the relevant flights to the Rosaviation. The Russian Ministry of Transport has introduced a draft government decision on charter flight restrictions to Turkey in the Cabinet of Ministers.
