More than 190 thousand people on Saturday remained without electricity in a number of regions in Finland due to the storm, reports the RIA Novosti with a reference to the broadcasting company Yle. According to the source the strongest gusts - up to 24.9 meters per second - were recorded in Vaasa. The storm bended the trees to the ground on the highway near Ilmajoki, which led to the restriction of the transportation. It is reported, that the bad weather caused technical issues in the rail line between Seinäjoki to Kokkola in the south eastern part of the country. According to meteorologists, the storm will reach the central part of Finland on Saturday.
