Vedat Türkali, who is considered one of the greats in modern Turkish literature, has died early Monday morning in a hospital in Yalova town.

Türkali, who died at the age of 97, was one of the few Turkish writers who had extensively reflected on Armenian Genocide, especially in his scandal-causing novel, entitled It’s Over, It’s Over, [But] It’s not Over.
