YEREVAN. – Two more persons have been charged with committing apparent crimes during the events that occurred in Armenia, between the late evening hours on July 29 and early morning hours on July 30, in Sari Tagh district of capital city Yerevan.

A. T. and F. S. have been charged with obstructing the lawful professional activities of journalists during the aforesaid events, the Special Investigation Service (SIS) of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

A precautionary measure unrelated to keeping them in custody has been enforced regarding them.

Criminal proceedings on charges of committing apparent crimes—including the obstruction of the lawful professional activities of journalists—are already launched against six persons, along the lines of the investigation within the framework the SIS criminal case into these events.

The criminal investigation is still in progress.
