U.S. President Barack Obama will meet with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the sidelines of the upcoming G20 summit in China.

The meeting is scheduled for September 4, Reuters reports, citing White House Spokesperson Ben Rhodes.

In the latter's words, during the meeting Obama will discuss the recent coup attempt in Turkey, campaign in the fight against IS, efforts towards stabilizing the situation in Syria and the migrant crisis.
