Facebook is going to allow users to perform their own safety check, reports the Wall Street Journal. The social network will activate that service in case of terrorist attacks or natural disasters, providing users a possibility to tell their friends that they are safe. Currently, it is only Facebook that can switch on the Safety Check. It has been repeatedly subject to criticism, since the users believe that the social network pays more attention to some incidents, leaving others  out of attention.
