YEREVAN. - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Monday visited the Public Radio of Armenia on occasion of the 90^th anniversary of the organization.

The President got familiarized with the activity of the scientific and educational center Mass Media, the main goal of which is to prepare quality workers for TV and radio. Thereafter the President attended the opening of the name plates of people’s artists Nara Shlepchyan and Ruben Matevosyan, as well as that of the monument dedicated to the 90^th anniversary of the Public Radio and 60^th anniversary of the TV company.

Sargsyan also visited the studio, from where the digital broadcast of the radio company was launched. He got familiarized with the policy of the new broadcasing season, new programs, work of social services, feedback from the listeners and priority directions of serving the public interests.

A group of workers were bestowed honorary titles on occasion of the event.
