President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Pedro Agramunt e wants to discuss resumption of the dialogue with Russia at meetings with heads of the leading political groups in Moscow, he told RIA Novosti.

According to him, the relations between the Russian parliament and Parliamentary Assembly will be the key issue in discussions at these meetings.

He also added that that the resumption of dialogue with Russia will provide an opportunity to restore cooperation and begin to work constructively within the Council of Europe.

PACE President emphasized that he had not changed the position concerning support of independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine in internationally recognized borders of the country, as well as all members of Council of Europe.
